REALTOR.com Adding Photos

These instructions are for real estate agents / brokers that have an account with realtor.com. Adding photos will increase your page views and contacts from your properties listed on realtor.com. Your local mls should upload up to 6 photos that you have uploaded to your mls but I have found that they are often distorted and of poor quality. Uploading your photos direct will do several things: 1. Insure that your photos are there, 2. Lock those photos in so the mls doesn't replace them with the poor quality ones, 3. Allow you to get the exact photos you want on their site, and 4. Allow you to put them in the order you want.

  1. Go to www.REALTOR.com (or iLead.Realtor.com and skip to item 4)
  2. Click on "iMarketing" in the For REALTORS® section of the page.
  3. Click on "Login Now" in the Control Panel section of the page (left side of the screen).
  4. Use drop down list to find your MLS and click on it.  Enter your user name where it asks for the "MLS Identifier".  Enter your Password where it asks for the "Agent/Office Password". Check the box that says "Remember My MLS Info on this computer" (It will not remember your password). Then click "Sing In".
  5. Click in the left side of the screen.
  6. Click " (left side of screen).
  7. Click on the Edit link in front of the listing that you want to add photos to (middle of the screen).
  8. On the next page, you'll see several options to edit the listing you have chosen. To add photos click the link that says . If the next screen shows the small photo boxes go to step 10, if not you need to do step 9.
  9. When the next screen comes up the computer may ask you to download and install some software, click yes. (If the computer doesn't ask you to install the software skip to number 12).

Be patient, it may take a minute or two to load the software and show the next screen properly.
  10. You should see 6 iPIX pictures on the screen. Click on any box to add a photo to that location. If the main photo was fine, do not click that box. If you click to change the main photo, then click the box, the main photo will be lost forever.
  11. The file search box will pop up (for help on finding files click here).  Find the file on your hard drive, click on it, then click open.  The photo will pop into the iPIX box that you clicked.  If it does not, repeat this step.
  12. Repeat step 10 to add up to 6 photo's. Once you have all the photo's for that listing loaded click the button, then click the "OK" button to save your changes.
  13. The next screen will take you back to your listing that you just added photo's to.  The photo's probably will not show up at this time.  That's ok.  Click another link to make other changes to that listing. If you want to add or edit photos to another listing click the link to choose the next listing that you want to add photos to (repeat steps 8,10, 11, & 12 or just click to end your editing session.
